The three Shooting Star Rooms are for children, five through twelve years old. We are open at 6:30 am to provide breakfast to your School Age child before they are safely escorted to the public school bus outside of our facility. After public school and riding the school bus to Catch A Star, the children enjoy a healthy afternoon snack. Since the children have been in a structured setting all day, our emphasis is on offering a variety of activities that allow the children to select. They may choose an activity from several interest centers, participate in planned activities, work on homework, or join in an outdoor game or free play. The children are also able to enjoy their air conditioned classrooms with computers, pool tables, air hockey, foosball, and other games. They have access to their own bathroom, locker room, gymnasium for rainy days, two playgrounds, and our Outdoor Natural Classroom.
Our School Age program is open every day including public school holidays, public school snow days, early dismissals, late starts, and public school teacher institute days until 5:30pm. As a member of our year round After School Program, these children are automatically reserved a spot for our Summer Camp Program. |
